VIPs gathered at Sheriff Steve Prator's luncheon announcement that Safety Town will be built at Summer Grove Baptist Church and be open year round.
Held at the Steen-Hall Eye Institute on November 3, 2005, community bigwigs learned more about the program. Eating lunch and hearing the plan were Jim and Margaret Elrod, Bill Pou, Bob Hamm, Marilyn Joiner, Cindy Chadwick, Nancy Larsen, Dr. Rod Masteller, John Hubbard and Sandy Johnson.
